Rising trend in prices of homes for sale
In June 2013, prices of owner-occupied homes reached a low point. Since then, there has been an upward trend. Compared to the trough in June 2013, prices were 91.7 percenthigher in February.
Fewer transactions of existing homes for sale in February
The Land Registry announced that it recorded 14,037 housing transactions in February. That is almost17 percentless than a year earlier. In the first two months of this year, 28,090 homes were sold, more than 32 percentless than in the same period of 2021.
